REVIEWS (Trip Advisor)
Isunga Lodge
Very clean place , food is delicious, Service is perfect. The place is located on the edge of Kibale National park with overview, it has nice birding garden. It has a swimming pool. It is about 30mn drive to the Chimpanzee tracking point. HilaryAkanwasa, March 2019

We stayed just one night here, as part of an 6 day tour of Uganda. For the money we really didn’t expect much but we were pleasantly surprised with how lovely the lodge was. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent and our lodge was beautiful and very comfortable. We would happily come back and stay longer if we had the chance – Ckirby, UK, June 2019.

Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge

Awesome activity – the place is located in the hills with views that are unmatched. the gorilla tracking activity is a feat to find them but so worth it. the experience out weighted the cost. once they are located you have one hour to watch and photograph them as you please. once you return to the trail head you receive a certificate from the UWA stating you completed the activity and helped support protecting them from poaching. the staff at the resort did a great job. Micheal Thembo did an excellent job with assisting me with my bag transfer as well as food and bird knowledge. the manager did a good job making sure everyone was happy and comfortable – Maui, Hawaii, 5 August 2019.

Perfect Lodge – I stayed with my family at this very beautiful place. It was a serene scene and view of the beautiful home to the gorillas, the thick Bwindi forest. We had a camp fire in the evening of our stay, coupled with very happy and accommodating Lodge staff. The family room we took with my son and wife was very clean, and self contained. The local fresh foods were so yummy, that my wife took a recipe with her. It was a great stay. – Derrick A, March 2019.

Note: Malaria precautions should be taken; Yellow Fever vaccination required if transferring through a South African border.
